    Hi,
I will go to Japan in august or september of next year. I want to work in a hair salon and I would like to know if you have some hair salon to recommend or some contacts so I can send my resume. Thanks.

    Hi,

Japan probably ranks very high in the chart for the number of hair salon per inhabitant (at least for major cities). Just to give you an example, nearby my previous appartment near Kita-Sendai station, there were at least 15 hair salon within a 10 minutes walk.

However, don’t think that you will find a job very easily. You should at least take a japanese language test, make something like a book of hairstyling and get some recommendations from known french hair-artist like Jacques Dessange who has several hair salon in Japan. If you can’t read what is written on the linked page, it’s probably better to hold your project for a while. You also have to determine how to get your visa to be able to work here.

    Good luck !

    Bonjour,

    Merci d’avance.
